Danielle LeBlanc

Executive Director, Frye Festival
Moncton, New Brunswick

Danielle completed her B.A. at the Université de Moncton, followed by her M.A in English Literature at McGill University. Since graduating, she garnered experience in marketing-communications, advertising and public relations in Montreal and Moncton.

She was delighted to return to her first love, books, in 2010 as the Executive Director of the Frye Festival in Moncton, NB. A celebration of books, ideas and the imagination, the Frye Festival is Atlantic Canada’s largest literary happening and Canada’s only bilingual international literary Festival. In her role as director, Danielle contributes to a flourishing Atlantic Canadian literary sector in both French and English, and brings a creative approach to literacy challenges in New Brunswick. She has represented the Frye Festival at various national forums and meetings, as well as at festivals internationally, including Festival America in Vincennes, France and the Sydney Writers Fest in Australia.
