Originally from the Acadian Peninsula, Gaetan Lanteigne has been working for nearly 15 years in the business and economic development sectors. He is recognized for his leadership, dynamic approach and community achievements. An educator, he is responsible for the Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise Management program at the Acadian Peninsula campus of the CCNB. Gaetan has a college diploma, an undergraduate degree and five certificates and is currently completing a master’s degree in business administration at the Université de Moncton. A highly active member of his community, he has helped to implement numerous economic, social and entrepreneurial initiatives. He was one of the earliest proponents of the ambitious project to merge 18 local service districts with the town of Tracadie-Sheila with a view to creating the first regional municipality in the history of New Brunswick. Gaetan has been the recipient of numerous distinctions on the regional, provincial and national levels.
