Aimée Foreman

Senior Consultant,
A. Foreman Consulting Inc., NB

Facilitating change can take many forms, but ultimately Aimée Foreman and her team at A. Foreman Consulting Inc (AFC) design their services around identifying and clearly articulating a challenge and then setting forth a plan to effectively involve stakeholders in fostering a solution.

Aimée founded AFC in 2008 after accumulating more than 12 years' experience in entrepreneurial settings, including holding the position of Chief Operating Officer for a multi-million dollar real estate firm. She obtained a BA in Sociology from Sir Wilfrid Laurier University and a MBA from the University of New Brunswick. She has grown her company to include six employees and is focused on providing flexible employment opportunities for women.

Aimée currently sits as Chair of the New Brunswick Community Inclusion Network Advisory Committee (CIN), is a member and former Chair of the Community Action of Group on Homelessness (CAGH), and previously sat as a member of Service Canada's local Community Advisory Board (CAB). She was involved in the development of New Brunswick's Blueprint for Action and remains invested in the delivery of the Poverty Reduction Strategy. She has participated in a variety of volunteer initiatives over her career, most recently having become a member of the Fredericton chapter of 100 Women Who Care.

Currently, AFC is pursuing social innovation by consulting on a number of pending ventures for non-profit clients and retains membership in the Canadian Community Economic Development Network (CCEDNet). Additionally, AFC is engaged in the progression of provincial wide food security initiatives, the development of a housing and integrated service delivery model for at-risk-youth, and has been contracted to prepare the response to the Province of New Brunswick's Government Mentorship Program Request on behalf of a group of economic development and innovation system stakeholder organizations.
