21inc is a proud supporter of the Youth Community Engagement category at Enterprise Greater Moncton’s Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge this year!

21inc, along with Assomption Vie, is proud to support the Youth Community Engagement category, which recognizes students who demonstrate a sense of initiative, volunteerism and citizenship in their community by presenting a project that meets a need in society. Students will also be judged on the following: demonstrating an exemplary attitude, autonomy, sense of responsibility, personal engagement (time, energy and tasks) and, above all, leadership.  Participation can be individual, as a group or as a school and two winners will be chosen for the category.  The prize package for each will include a $500 bursary as well as two tickets to the upcoming edition of 21inc’s Ideas Festival to present their projects on an Atlantic Canada scale.

The Youth Entrepreneurship Challenge is a the only provincial bilingual business plan competition for high school students, enabling them to develop an idea, research its possibilities, develop a concept and pitch the idea to a panel of expert judges.  Led by Enterprise Greater Moncton and the Youth Entrepreneurship Development Network, the challenge aims to recognize and reward various entrepreneurial initiatives and to instill a passion for business in youth across the province. The 2013 edition will feature three categories: Innovative Business Idea, Summer Venture, and Youth Engagement.

Deadline for project submission is April 12, 2013
