21inc, along with Assomption Vie, is proud to support the Youth Community Engagement category, which recognizes students who demonstrate a sense of initiative, volunteerism and citizenship in their community by presenting a project that meets a need in society. Students will also be judged on the following: demonstrating an exemplary attitude, autonomy, sense of responsibility, personal engagement (time, energy and tasks) and, above all, leadership. Participation can be individual, as a group or as a school and two winners will be chosen for the category. The prize package for each will include a $500 bursary as well as two tickets to the upcoming edition of 21inc’s Ideas Festival to present their projects on an Atlantic Canada scale.
